4thSat 20130504T08300009:30-20130503T23000000:00 T3983Church Hike . Come and join us for a days hike in the Peak District, Derbyshire. We will catch the 0945 train from Manchester Piccadilly to Edale (but buy a return ticket to Hope). The walk will take us through the Hope valley, finishing at Hope station late afternoon. It may be muddy and some of the footpaths will be uneven so you will need strong sensible shoes or walking boots, you will also need a warm waterproof coat. It is a good idea to bring a hat and gloves as well, it will be colder on the hills than in central Manchester. Please bring lunch and a drink with you, we will be in the countryside with no shops until we reach Hope. For more details contact Alison (a.m.thomlinson@talk21.com), Dave S or pick up a leaflet from the church notice board.
