Regular Prayer, Worship and Study

Every Sunday 11:00 a.m. Morning worship with Holy Communion (First Sunday in Month: shared lunch after the service)
During Term Time:
Sunday 10.00 a.m. Prayer & Toast: a simple prayer meeting with tea and toast served before and afterwards, in the Sangam room at the front of St Peter's. Pray in many languages for needs and concerns in our world, our church and university communities and our own lives.
  6.30 p.m. KISS: Evening worship led for students by students, followed by fellowship over a simple free meal. (Last Sunday in the month: Holy Communion, led by a chaplain.)

19:00 Book Group. The Book Group is reading "The Children's Book" by A.S. Byatt. All are welcome. The book is available for $7.99 at Blackwell's Bookshop or used online, as well.

The AGM will take place in the church immediately following the service. After the AGM we will gather for lunch in the common room. A hot lunch will be provided with vegetarian option. We invite you to bring a dessert to share. Please stay to share your thoughts in this important meeting and join in fellowship together over lunch. The Lenten Bible Study will meet again next Sunday.

19:00 No choir practice this night. . As Oliver is away at the weekend on a "Music for the Parish Liturgy" training weekend led by John Bell. There will be no choir. Some may wish to attend the Banquet at 5:30 instead.

Following in the spirit of the popular TV show "The Choir", Choir Director, Oliver Tarney will lead us in singing "Fix You" by Coldplay, as a fitting end to MMU Mind, Body, Spirit Week 2010.
