One of our core values is ‘gift’ – a pleasingly open-ended idea which gives space to explore what the concept means for us and those around us. We want the chaplaincy to be a gift to those around us, we see people and all they bring as gifts, we recognise that everyone has different gifts…
Talking of which, there are a range of ways that you can get involved at St Peter’s House and we’re currently working on getting a volunteer program up-and-running that will allow students and staff to offer and build up their gifts.
We often also find that other people’s ideas are far more creative than ours – so we’d love to know how you think you could get involved, what you have to offer to our life here, and what we can offer you. Maybe you are a fantastic photographer, a green-fingered genius, or a great listener. Do you love to cook, run events, or do mindful drawing and want to share your passion? Tell us what you want to bring to St Peter’s House, and we’ll make space for you in our community.
We are pretty fired up about all of our re-launch plans, but our new cafe and what we hope will grow there makes us all tingly.
Know your horsetail from your horseradish? If so, you’re the one that we want….
