Regular Groups and Gatherings
A totally right-on and eclectic mix of regular groups meet at St Peter’s House throughout the week. Baking, debating, mindfulness, yoga, gardening… its all going on.
Some of our regular activities include:
- ‘Wholeness’ is really important to us. We understand this as going beyond well-being – saying something about being the truest version of who we are born to be. Yoga, mindfulness and meditation are all part of our regular offering – find out more via our calendar.
- Faith and how we express it is also at the heart of our weekly rhythm. All our welcome to come along and find out more about one of the regular worshipping communities that meet here. We also share silence once a week – a time for people of any or no faith to come and be still together amidst the business of life.
- Baking Society is a student group that meets weekly in term-time. A fine example of a group who add to the life of St Peter’s House through their regular booking and meetings here. All students welcome to make, bake and eat.
So you see – we run our own programme, and also share our space with a wide variety of groups and organisations – which means that our place is often a great spot to encounter something a little unexpected. Interested in hiring St Peter’s House?
We love getting to know our chaplaincy partners from other faiths – and as St Peter’s House currently coordinates the multi-faith chaplaincy provision across the Universities, there are plenty of opportunities to get to know multi-faith folk as they come into SPH to use our facilities.
