Pastoral Support – for staff

We count it a privilege to support all members of staff.

You may have thoughts and feelings which you cannot understand.

You may be bereaved or have suffered a significant loss, or you may have experienced other traumatic incidents which continue to trouble you.

Whatever the circumstances, sharing your story and your emotions with someone who listens attentively, with acceptance and understanding, can help enormously.

If you are looking for someone who can walk alongside you, we offer one-to-one pastoral support on a short-term or more regular basis in a discreet setting.

Chaplains are available at St Peter’s every week day.  Chaplaincy is for everyone, of all faiths or of none.

To make an appointment, call in to reception or email sph.reception@manchester.ac.uk

Pastoral Support – for Students

University is a formative place. It can be a time in life that raises questions about identity, belief and your own personal values.

Chaplains are here to help you explore these kinds of questions.

We offer support and care, confidential, non-judgemental listening, stillness amidst the demands of university life.

Chaplains are available at St Peter’s every week day.
