Ever meet a fella putting ‘Boy’ before ‘Boss’…? Nope, us neither.

This International Women’s Day, let’s be defined by Verbs. A community of collaborative women – Doing boss, not Being boss. Celebrating our stories and skills, and coming together for equity.

Join us for Headline Performances, Feminist Story-Telling and Live Music – along with a Milk & Honey kitchen take-over by Gwafuvegan, for vegan West African food. Women from across Manchester are joining us with stalls and showcases of their art, crafts, baking, jewellery, henna and more – and bring along your little (7-11 year old, girl-identifying) folk to our “Small. Fierce. Feminist”, sessions led by Developing Dignity – which is especially for tomorrow’s truth-to-power bringers.

It’s going to be amazing – and that’s because women are amazing. We just all need different resources and opportunities to live our most Whole and fulfilled lives. That’s Equity – and this is our call to action. Our story-tellers will explore this in their own lives, and we’ll also have resources and support organisations here for you to get involved or find out more.
